Infielder Alexi Casilla was expected to be the Twins' starting second
baseman in 2008 when the club traded Luis Castillo to the Mets at the
trade deadline last July.
在去年七月底Castillo被交易到梅子隊的時候，Casilla一度被認為是Twins今年
二壘手的解答。
A rough stint at the end of last season for Casilla, in which he was
plagued by youthful mistakes, seemed to erase that notion. And with
Nick Punto and Brendan Harris appearing to be the frontrunners for
the second-base job, there has been a question of whether Casilla
could be moved back to his natural shortstop position.
但去年季末慘澹的表現，似乎讓隊上改變了想法。而且球隊在二壘有Nick Punto
和Brendan Harris的情形下，Casilla可能會回到他的游擊老位置。
Casilla is penciled in to be the starting shortstop for Thursday's
Grapefruit League Opener against the Reds in Sarasota. But manager
Ron Gardenhire said it wasn't an indication that the team might
eventually move Casilla back to the position full-time, and that he
likely would move Casilla to second base mid-game on Thursday.
在葡萄柚聯盟對紅人的開幕戰裡，Casilla會是球隊的先發SS。但Gardy說這不代表
球隊會將他一直擺在SS，可能在球賽中後段就會把他調回二壘。
"I'm going to move him around and have him play some short and play
some second as we go along here," Gardenhire said. "As we start breaking
things down, we'll probably use him a lot more at second base on a rotation
basis. But I've got to move everybody around right now; I just have too
many infielders."
Gardy說：「在這裡(春訓)我會讓他在二壘和游擊都試試看，但在開季後他應該還是
會在二壘。基本上每個內野手在春訓都會讓他們每個位置都守守看，我們有太多內野
手了。」
As for Casilla's progress this spring, Gardenhire said he's already noticed
a change in the 23-year-old.
Casilla在春訓的表現也讓Gardy注意到了。e's already doing better in the drills here," he said. "His footwork is
already better, in control. A lot has gone right and he's just going to get
better and better."
「他在這裡表現的很好。他的腳程本來就不錯，而他正在往正確的方向邁進並讓自己
越來越好。」Gardy這樣說。
