Notes:
‧ Minnesota pitchers did not walk a batter for the sixth game this season on
Sunday. There have been 25 walk-less games this season in the major leagues
, and no team besides Minnesota has recorded more than two no-walk games.
Last season Minnesota pitchers didn’t walk a batter in 23 games, the most
in the majors.
Twins投手群在這季已經有六次單場完全沒投四壞球了，MLB第一。本季全MLB也才25次
這種情形，Twins以外單隊最多兩次無BB。其實在上一季Twins投手群就很不愛投BB了，
全季有23次，領先MLB。
‧ Minnesota’s win against Cleveland on Saturday snapped a streak of eight
straight losses against the Twins’ division rival. Last season the Twins
went 4-14 against Cleveland and were outscored 96 to 49.
Twins在Blackburn打敗笑臉人之後，終於中止了對笑臉人的八連敗，去年Twins對笑臉
人總共4勝14敗，得分比更慘達49:96。
‧ Entering Sunday’s game, Twins outfielders had recorded six assists this
season, tied with Florida for the third most in the major leagues. LF Delmon
Young has three assists, his most recent coming Saturday, when his
pinpoint throw to C Joe Mauer threw out a Cleveland runner about to score.

‧ Minnesota’s bullpen bounced back from blowing leads in back-to-back games
in Detroit last week by nearly shutting out Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Twins
relievers surrendered just one run during 16 1/3 innings of work in the
team’s five-game homestand.
Twins牛棚在對老虎連兩場爆炸之後終於谷底反彈，在對小魚和笑臉人的比賽中，牛棚
幾乎完全封鎖對手。在這五場主場連戰之中，牛棚共投了16.1局只丟了一分。
‧ RHP Scott Baker recorded his third quality start of the season Sunday. He
struck out eight Cleveland batters and has now allowed three runs or less
in 12 straight starts.
Baker星期天投出了本季第三場QS，並且投出8K。他已經連續12場先發失分在三分以下。
Medical Watch:
RHP Brian Bass (back tightness) had trouble throwing on April 16 and was
expected to be out for a day or two. If he’s not better by April 19,
her may be placed on the disabled list.
Bass在16號的比賽中，後背覺得很緊。他大概會錯過一到兩場的比賽，如果在19號
以前還沒改善的話，將會把他放到DL。(按:應該是OK了，沒看到Bass進DL。)
SS Adam Everett (sore right shoulder) sat out April 15. An MRI showed no
tear, and he was given a cortisone shot. He’ll be out a few more days,
then will be re-evaluated. If he’s not better by April 19, her may be
placed on the disabled list.
MRI顯示他的肩膀沒有拉傷，他已經接受注射治療。並在幾天後再評估，若還是不理想
會把他放到DL。(按:已進入DL。)
RF Michael Cuddyer (dislocated right index finger) was injured sliding into
third base April 4 and was placed on the 15-day disabled list after the
game. He still could not swing a bat on April 17, but may be able to
rejoin the team by April 25.
卡戴兒在之前頭部滑進三壘造成手指受傷，最近已經拆線，到17號時還是沒辦法打
擊，不過應該可以在25號歸隊。
RHP Kevin Slowey (right biceps strain) went on the 15-day disabled list
retroactive to April 4. He threw a light bullpen session on April 14 and
threw for 20 minutes on April 16. He will start a rehab assignment soon.
Slowey在14號進行了簡單的牛棚練習並在16號投了20分鐘，他很快就會進行復健賽。
