Jason Kubel's batting gloves and batting helmet were sent to the National
Baseball Hall of Fame after Kubel hit for the cycle Friday night. The museum
wanted the souvenirs, the Twins said, to commemorate the historic nature of
his cycle -- just the third in the last 100 years that was completed with a
grand slam.
