Giants Re-Sign Pat Burrell

The Giants have re-signed outfielder Pat Burrell to a one-year deal,
according to Hank Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle (via Twitter).
While the terms of the deal are not yet known, it will be incentive-laden,

Andrew Baggarly of the Mercury News was the first to report that a deal may
have been struck between the two sides. Burrell's deal will be for
significantly less than the $9MM he earned last season. No need to cry for
Burrell though: according to Baseball Reference, Pat the Bat has earned
nearly $70MM over the course of his 11-year big league career.
In 120 games for the Rays and Giants last season, Burrell hit .252/.348/.469
with 20 homers.
