標題[情報] Joe Blanton該何去何從?

話說Cliff Lee來到費城後
全隊薪資將暴漲165M~170M左右，想當然費城會想減輕點負擔
首當其衝的就是Joe Blanton (據傳費城也想送走Raul Ibanez和Kyle Kendrick)
Blanton在年初簽下了24M/3Y的合約
目前還剩下約17M的價值，若順利送走他將可省下不少錢
也因此在Lee的歸處定案後就傳出不少Blanton將被交易的傳聞
Blanton今年因傷曾缺席一段時間 成績是9W-6L 4.82ERA ERA+則是84
最先是傳出
紅襪隊向費城人打探Blanton
但隨後這消息就被打臉了

No deal yet in place for Blanton
It's uncertain at this point whether the Red Sox actually want Blanton or
were just talking about possibilities. But as of right now, they have not
made a trade for him.
It is conceivable that the Red Sox could have tried to help Philadelphia sign
Lee (keeping him away from the Yankees and the Rangers) by taking Blanton off
their hands.
But according to our sources,
there is no deal as of right now and one was
never in place.
