It is a sad day today because it is the day I close up Baseball Injury Tool.
I have essentially created the website and tool from scratch although I did
have help in key areas involving the database from Sean Clairmont. Ever since
the beginning my goal, which I reached, was to provide the public with a tool
to easily search for injury information. Unfortunately others began to take
advantage of this and claimed that they were "inspired by" my work and then
copied all the information and just styled differently. While technically
true, then I began noticing others started to use the information gathered
from my site in their various writings without proper credit, essentially
discounting all the hard work I've put in. I've put in over 4 years and 1500+
hours and seeing others copy and use the information in one way or another
without proper credit, makes me feel like I was used.

 That is something I simply do not tolerate in my life.

 Instead, I am going to continue my work over at Baseball Prospectus. They
have always given me the proper credit so the injury data I provide will be
on each player's page. Also it will be used in their research and hopefully
advance both analysis and maybe affect the game a little bit as well.

 I wish it never had to come to this, but I suppose it was inevitable in
today's world.

有些人在未獲允許的情形下把作者辛苦蒐集的資料拿去移花接木
作者不喜歡這種被利用的感覺所以就關門大吉
