Kazmir returning to the Mets?

The last time Scott Kazmir(notes) was a member of the New York Mets, it was
2004, he was the team's top pitching prospect and he was being told he was
getting shipped to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays as part of a trade for Victor
Zambrano. Zambrano went 10-14 over the next three seasons for New York while
Kazmir earned two All-Star appearances in Florida.

上次Scott Kazmir還是大都會成員時是2004年的事情，當時他在球隊是新秀裡最
強的投手，之後便被告知要去光芒隊，成為 Victor Zambrano包裹交易案裡的一
份子。Zambrano在那之後的三年在紐約投出的成績是10勝14敗，當時Kazmir在佛
羅里達已經出賽過兩次全明星賽了。

Now Kazmir has been released by the Los Angeles Angels and the New York Daily
News reports that the Mets are considering bringing the 27-year-old lefty
back.

Kazmir has been with Anaheim since 2009 and hasn't pitched well. This year,
he has a 17.02 ERA -- and that's in Triple-A. In the bigs this season, his
ERA is 27.00. Ouch.

現在Kazmir已經被天使隊放走，據New York Daily News報導，大都會正在考慮
把這位27歲的左投帶回家。

Kazmir自2009就在Anaheim了，但至今投的都不好。今年他的防禦率17.02，更慘
的是那是在3A的數字。本季在大聯盟，防禦率高達27.00，噢！

"We look at everybody who hits the wire, and the same would apply to him,"
said Mets GM Sandy Alderson in a typically bland statement, according to the
Daily News.
