The Yankees were one of 17 teams with a presence in Colorado on Thursday
night to watch Ubaldo Jimenez pitch.

several talent evaluators. The Yankees have the top prospects needed to land

Prior to the start of the Rangers' current eight-game winning streak, the
team was in serious need of pitching help. Derek Holland and Colby Lewis
were struggling, and the bullpen was getting overworked.

But things have certainly changed since then. Holland now has back-to-back
shutouts in his last two starts, and Colby Lewis is trying to go 4-0 in his
last six appearances for the team. The increased workload for the starters
has led to a rested pen that's getting more than enough rest.

但神奇的事情發生了：

Simply put, the team isn't fretting over the pitching situation at the
moment. But that doesn't mean ownership isn't kicking the tires and make
inquires regarding various players. As Fox Sport's Jon Paul Morosi reported ,
league sources have told him that the Rangers have reached out to the Florida
Marlins to inquire about their pitching staff, but no names have been
mentioned.

簡單說，投手已經不是條子的最大煩惱
不過為求保險，條子目前仍未放棄對投手的需求

Per Morosi:
The talks are "not far along," one source said, but there is a good fit
between the clubs. Texas has one of the richest farm systems in baseball, and
the Marlins’ pattern of dealing arbitration-eligible veterans for prospects
is well-established.

不過這兩方的確有成交的條件
條子擁有全聯盟前段優秀的農場，而把打出成績隔年剛好

The Marlins do have a serviceable staff that could definitely help bolster
the Rangers' rotation. Starters Anibal Sanchez and Josh Johnson are two of
the most highly sought after pitchers in the league, while closer Leo Nuñez
is reportedly on the trading block
