Yankees signed OF Raul Ibanez to a one-year, $1.1 million contract.

Ibanez passed his physical on Tuesday in New York and will travel to the
Yankees' spring complex in Tampa, Florida on Thursday to begin workouts. The
deal also comes with around $2.9 million worth of performance-based
incentives. Ibanez, 39, will function as a part-time designated hitter and
backup outfielder in 2012.
星期二時順利通過體檢，而且將會加入洋基在坦帕基地的春訓
合約內容也包含了2.9M的激勵獎金。39歲的一把椰子將會扮演part-time的DH
和外野的back up。
