The Royals lost to the Blue Jays on Monday night, culminating a
homestand on which Kansas City lost all 10 games. Only two other teams in
major-league history went 0-10 or worse on a homestand: the Seattle Pilots (a
first-year expansion team that became the Milwaukee Brewers in 1970) lost all
10 games of a homestand in August 1969, and the Arizona Diamondbacks went

From Elias: It was a familiar script at Miller Park on Monday night: Zack
Greinke started and the Brewers won. Milwaukee has won 18 straight
regular-season home games started by Greinke, tying the third-longest home
winning streak by a team in a particular pitcher's starts since 1900. The
Twins won 24 straight home starts by Johan Santana (2005-07), the Pirates won
19 in a row at home in starts by Ray Kremer (1926-27) and the Giants won 18
consecutive home starts by Atlee Hammaker (1982-83).
