ATLANTA - Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg walked away from
reporters here Monday night with the comment, "What a joke."
星期一晚間的比賽後，華盛頓國民隊的小史只對記者們丟下一句 "笑話!" 隨即離開現場。
He had been asked if he might have to get tests on his forearm following remarks
by manager Davey Johnson that Strasburg experienced tightness in his arm during
his stint against the Braves. The pitcher rolled his eyes with disgust as he
pulled away from reporters crowded around his locker.
當時記者們問他是否會去檢查他的前臂狀況根據稍早教頭Davey Johnson談到在面對勇士

Johnson said Tuesday afternoon that he would like to see his pitcher have some
fun, some amusement, anything to relieve the burden of expectations.

"I just wish he would get to the point where he doesn't put so many high demands
on himself," Johnson said. "That he just goes out and has a little more fun."
Johnson paused and chuckled, "That may take a while."

Strasburg threw 93 pitches (40 balls) in six innings and left Monday night's
3-2 loss to Atlanta with no decision. Afterward, Johnson provided a brief scare
to the Nationals' fan base when he suggested Strasburg might miss his next
start. Strasburg, one of the game's dominant starters, underwent elbow
reconstruction surgery Sept. 3, 2010, and the club endured criticism from some
quarters for their decision to shut him down before the 2012 playoffs to
maximize his recovery from that surgery.
小史在面對勇士的比賽中六局用了93個球其中有40個壞球，最後國民3比2輸球，小史無關
勝敗，稍後，Johnson暗示小史可能會跳過下一次先發，此話一出嚇了國民球迷一跳。

Johnson said Tuesday that Strasburg will not miss a start. The pitcher walked
to his locker before Tuesday's game and left quickly for the field to stretch
and was not available to reporters. He had the same glum expression he had the
night before.
星期二Johnson證實小史不會跳過下次的先發，在星期二的比賽前小史很快就離開置物櫃
到場上做伸展，不接受任何採訪，跟前一晚不開心的情緒如出一轍。
"Mechanics are fine," Johnson said. "It goes back to maybe wanting to do too
much. He's such a perfectionist that every pitch he wants to be perfect.
Sometimes he'll want to put a little extra on it instead of trying to hit his
spots and just pitching.
Johnson：沒什麼大問題啦，可能是想太多了，小史是個完美主義者，想要每一球都照著
他的意思走，有時想得太多反而忘記了其實只要投到他該投的位置即可。
Johnson said Strasburg would not be sent out for tests.
小史將不會接受任何檢查。
"It should be settled down by the time he throws his side (session)," Johnson
said. "Stras feels a lot better about it…so do I."
"他覺得好多了，我也相信他。"
"He's awfully good. If he didn't have this kind of media coverage he would be
better off."
"小史真的很棒了，如果媒體沒這麼關注他的話，他可以表現得更好。"
