Braves pitcher Kris Medlen leaves the game with apparent elbow injury
Braves pitcher Kris Medlen, who missed the nearly the entire 2011 season
after undergoing Tommy John surgery, had a good chance to be Atlanta’s
opening day starter. He left Sunday’s game against the Mets after apparently
aggravating his elbow. Medlen could be seen grabbing his elbow after a pitch,
but he remained in the game.
Medlen threw one more pitch, but immediately skipped off the mound and left
the game.
