Could the Orioles go to a six-man rotation when Johan Santana is ready?

Manager Buck Showalter left open the possibility on Tuesday.

"I could if I wanted to," Showalter said. "Not saying I'm going to. Could.
That part of it, he's not competing against the people up here [current
Orioles starters]. He's competing to be good enough to compete against
[Orioles opponents]."

休總:"如果我想這麼做的話，我可以這麼做，但我沒有說我將會這麼做，

他並不是要跟現在的先發投手群競爭，而是要讓他自己能跟我們的對手抗衡。"

Santana opted to stay in the organization and not exercise the opt-out clause
in his contract, with the Orioles announcing on Monday that they had selected
his contract -- adding him to the 40-man roster -- while the lefty continues
to rehab. Santana is expected to make one rehab start at Double-A and then
another at Triple-A and could be an option by mid-June.

桑大王並沒有行使他合約中的跳脫的權利，選擇繼續留在金鶯，

而金鶯星期一宣布將桑大王的合約換成大聯盟約，並將他放入40人名單，

桑大王將繼續他的復健行程，並會在近期於2A及3A各有一場先發作為復健賽，

預計6月中旬可能回到大聯盟，成為金鶯的先發人選之一。

"I don't think there will be anything difficult about it," Showalter said of
finding room for Santana in the rotation. "I've been hinting around at going
to six starters anyway. It's not a problem. Anytime there are good pitchers
available, especially with his pedigree."

談到找一個輪值的空位給桑大王這件事，

休總:"我不認為這會有任何困難，無論如何我都曾暗示過6人輪值，

每當有好用的投手時，這些都不是問題，再說他的成績及經歷都非常棒。
