The Mets announced (on Twitter) that they have re-signed Bobby Abreu to a
minor league contract and assigned him to Triple-A Las Vegas. The 40-year-old
veteran has already appeared in 67 games for the Mets this season after
signing a minor league contract at the end of March. New York designated him
for assignment and released him earlier this month.
