Report: Giants acquire 3B McGehee from Marlins

The Giants have acquired third baseman Casey McGehee from the Marlins,
according to multiple national reports.

Multiple outlets suggested that the two teams were close to a deal earlier on
Friday.

The 32-year-old McGehee hit .287 with 29 doubles, four home runs and 76 RBI
in 2014 for the Marlins.

McGehee is arbitration-eligible and according to MLB Trade Rumors'
projections, is expected to make $3.5 million in 2015.
