Astros claim outfielder Nori Aoki off waivers

The Astros on Thursday claimed outfielder Nori Aoki off waivers from the
Seattle Mariners.

Aoki, who will be 35 next season, batted .283 with a .349 on-base percentage
and a .388 slugging percentage in 417 at-bats in 2016. He played primarily
left field last season but has experience in all three outfield spots.

Aoki is arbitration eligible this winter and would be again next year if
still with the Astros. He had a $6 million option for 2017 that did not vest
because he did not reach 480 plate appearances.

太空人今天宣布從水手隊讓渡名單撿走青木宣親

今年球季交出 .283/.349/.388  OPS .738  四發全壘打


季前與水手簽下1年5.5M合約，附加選擇權

前半段打得不甚理想，一度還被下放至小聯盟3A

不過，青木在九月份的狀況有所回溫

但是本季未能夠達到480個打席，所以將無法執行6M的選擇權


而下一季將要滿35歲的青木宣親

在今年冬天也已經取得了薪資仲裁的資格
