CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have exercised their option
on Dave Roberts' contract for 2019 while continuing to work on a long-term
deal for the manager who has taken the team to consecutive World Series.
洛杉磯躲人執行球隊選擇權，續留Dave Roberts到2019年，並繼續研究一個長期的合約給
這位連續帶領躲人打入世界大賽的總教練。

Andrew Friedman, the Dodgers president of baseball operations, says the team
is "optimistic about working something out long-term."
躲人球團營運長Andrew Friedman說球隊"對於研究出一個長期的合作方式表示樂觀"。

"The reason that we've kind of slowed down a little bit is we've got a lot of
coaching staff decisions to make and interviews," Friedman said Wednesday at
the general manager's meetings. "I think it speaks more to the optimism that
something is going to definitely get done and allows us to kind of focus on
what we need to near-term."

Roberts just finished his third season as the Dodgers' skipper, when Los
Angeles lost the World Series in five games to the Boston Red Sox. The
Dodgers lost the 2017 World Series in seven games to the Houston Astros.
Roberts剛坐完第三年的躲人總教練，剛結束的世界大賽以五戰結束，輸給了紅襪。去年
2017年世界大賽打了七場，輸給了太色。

He has led the Dodgers to seasons of 91, 104 and 92 wins, and is 287-200
overall.
這三年帶領躲人，分別拿下91場，104場以及92場勝利，總戰績是287-200。
