9.0 Presentation
It feels like baseball, looks like baseball. The menus and some of the
navigation could be better.
8.0 Graphics
Nice animations and player body types seem spot on. The stadiums don't have
much visual pop or wow factor.
7.0 Sound
The stadium sounds are solid, but the trio of announcers feel tired -- even
newcomer Eric Karros adds nothing exciting to the mix.
8.5 Gameplay
New analog controls are a great change, but still need some refinement.
Fielding ratings really, really, really matter. The AI is good, but has some
issues from time to time.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
The game modes have only seen minor tweaks, but there's still a ton of depth
here. Online can add quite a bit if that's up your alley.
8.0 OVERALL
