In 2004 at the age of 39 Gordon fought Asian games San Da gold medalist and
3rd degree judo black belt Lin Sun Hsiang in the TFKC. Gordon won the match
in 1 min 30 sec by standing rear naked choke. The match caused much
controversy because many had considered Lin the best fighter in his weight
class on the island.
