The City midfielder picked up a knock on his knee in the 3-1 win over QPR at
the weekend and will instead receive treatment at Carrington.
Though he is ruled out of the trip to Azerbaijan, the injury will be assessed
during the week and if he shows sufficient improvement, Rodwell may join up
with the squad for Monday’s game against Norway.
