Let c = m/n, where m, n are in N, (since c in Q)

And T(mx) = mT(x), since T(x+y) = T(x) +T(y),

Then T(mx) = T( (mx/n)*n ) = n*T( (mx/n) ) = mT(x)

  → n*T( (mx/n) ) = mT(x)

  → T( (mx/n) ) = (m/n)*T(x)

Hence, T(cx) = cT(x).      Q.E.D.
