題目出自 Saeed Ghahramani的機率課本 (閃電本) ch9.2 Exercise 7
Let X1 and X2 be two independent exponential random variables each with
parameter λ. Show that X(1) and X(2) - X(1) are independent.
老師上課跳過了ch9.1的 Joint Distributions of n>2 Random Variables
也沒有上 ch8.4的 Transformations of Two Random Variables
解答的寫法用到了 Jacobian of the transformation ..
我應該自己將相關的章節閱讀完畢會是比較理想的作法嗎？
還是說有其他更基本的觀念或解法可以直接去證明
X(1) and X(2) - X(1) are independent ?
