總之我們只要考慮 x+hx, y+hy, z+hz 大小就好
若設這三角形的三角為 A B C 其中 x 對 A, y 對 B, z 對 C
那麼有 hx = y sinC = z sinB,
hy = x sinC = z sinA,
hz = x sinB = y sinA
於是 x + hx
= x + y sinC
= y + (x-y) + y sinC
≧ y + (x-y)sinC + y sinC (x > y 且 1≧sinC)
= y + x sinC
= y + hy
跟 z + hz 的比較也可以類似地得到
所以有 x + hx ≧ y + hy ≧ z + hz
即你所要問的三個式子由左到右為(非嚴格地)由小到大
等號出現在直角三角形的情形, 這時直角在小的兩邊 (即 y,z) 之間
所以後兩個值會相等, 第一個值會小於後兩個值
其他情形等號不會成立, 所以三個值會嚴格地由小到大
