The Mavericks have to worry about he extended wear on Dirk Nowitzki in the last
16 months, he’s played more than 120 basketball games, and that’s gonna hit
him pretty hard this year. The hope is some of the roster moves like bringing
in Devean George will allow them to rest Dirk in training camp, and in the
pre-season. If Josh Howard and Devean George can hold things down for the Mavs,
Dirk’s extra wear may not be so bad, but its definitely something the Mavs
have to monitor. Josh Howard’s upcoming contract discussions are going to be
pretty easy, he wants to remain in Dallas and the Mavs will pay him (to a
point).
