Technical problems: The Mavericks were hit with three technical fouls, and
all of them were a bit unusual.
Assistant Dwane Casey got one in the second quarter, then James Singleton was
assessed one for mixing it up with Boston's Leon Powe. What made Singleton's
technical strange?
"It's the first one I've ever had – ever," Singleton said. "I'm not like
that, but I'm not going to let anybody bully me."
The last technical was assessed to the Mavericks' bench, but since a name
must be attached to all technicals, it was given to assistant Mario Elie.
Nowitzki said the technical should have been on him and volunteered to pay
the $1,500 fine.
