Mavs have been magnificent since Rick Carlisle gave Jason Kidd control

Rick Carlisle decided a few games ago to allow Jason Kidd to call the
majority of the plays. The Mavs have responded with their best three-game
stretch of the season, rolling to a few straight double-digit wins.
Here are some before/after statistical comparisons:
Record: 25-19/3-0
Points per game: 99.8/111.0
FG pct.: .452/.542
3-point pct.: .337/.455
Assists per game: 15.1/22.0
A three-game stretch is a small sample size, but those statistical
improvements are eye-popping.
Did Kidd getting play-calling control coincide with a hot shooting stretch?
Without a doubt.
Are the Mavs a much better team with Kidd calling the plays? That certainly
seems to be the case, but let's give it a month or so to be sure.
