Mavs draft-related rumors.
    DONUT 1: DraftExpress' Jonathan Givony reports that Dallas loves Jordan
Hill and could work out a deal with Washington for the No. 5 pick.
DraftExpress offers a great look here at Hill. The speculation about the
specifics of a Mavs’ trade-up to 5, though, seems like nothing more than
that: Speculation.

    DONUT 2: Of course, Dallas and Washington have done a deal like this
before: Antawn for the No. 5 pick (in the person of Devin Harris) along with
other stuff, including Jerry Stackhouse.

   Here’s a different angle, by the way, on what that trade meant – and it
just shows that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. From the Washington
Post, not long ago, writing not about this rumor but about the Devin dead:

    “Getting Antawn Jamison for Devin Harris was a great deal to turn the
Wizards into a playoff team. This next move could help the Wizards move
beyond just being a "happy-to-be-here" playoff team.’’

   Weird, huh? The Mavs think they got a steal with Devin and Stack. And in
Washington, they believe the Wiz fleeced Dallas?
