[外電] Ahmad Nivins apparently headed to Europe

Second-round pick Ahmad Nivins' decent performance in summer league (11.2
ppg, 5.6 rpg, .537 FG) wasn't good enough to get him an invitation to Mavs'
training camp.

The power forward has reportedly agreed to a deal with a European team (via
DallasBasketball.com). That means both Mavs second-rounders will spend the
season overseas.

Guard Nick Calathes, a first-round value who had a deal with a Greek team
before the draft, is a safe bet to be a Maverick at some point, perhaps as
soon as the summer of 2010. It's to be determined with Nivins, depending on
his development.
