The Mavericks are going to adjust the roles of several players this season
and Shawn Marion will be one of them.
That may include coming off the bench, or maybe not.
But either way, there's one part of Marion's game that disappeared in his
first season with the Mavericks that will be resurrected this season.
"Definitely, my 3-ball wasn't in play last year,'' Marion said. "And I'm
definitely going to get that back involved and take my opportunities.''
Marion was a solid 35-percent 3-point shooter until the last two seasons. In
that time, he's stopped taking them and stopped making the few that he did
try. Last season, he was just 3-of-19 from beyond the arc.
Considering he'd made 670 3-pointers in his career before last season, it was
like a dam plugged up his perimeter shot.
That will change, coach Rick Carlisle said after the first practice this
morning.
"He spent time on it this summer and I want him to get back into shooting
it,'' Carlisle said. "He's had some very good years with it and I know he's
capable. It's a comfort thing.''

下季小牛整個進攻端的威脅會提升
另外就是如果他擔任板凳
小牛板凳球員的火力也會提升
