Mavericks beat writer Eddie Sefko answered your questions in his weekly
e-mail newsletter - Inside the Dallas Mavericks. Here are some highlights.

Robert asks ... Is Tyson Chandler's performance against the Celtics a preview
of things to come in May?

SEFKO: Dirk is already on record saying this is the best center combo he's
ever played with. Presumably, that doesn't include Chris Kaman and whoever
his backup was on the German national team in the 2008 Olympics.

Dirk說過小牛目前中鋒組合是他從以前到現在所搭配過最好的組合， 不過應該是不
包括2008年北京奧運打國家代表隊和Chris Kaman及其替補。


Good players always are welcomed additions by superstars and Chandler is a
good player when he's healthy. That will be the key going forward.

當Tyson Chandler健康時他是個好球員，而這會是小牛能否繼續向前邁進的關鍵。


It's not fair to expect a double-double out of Chandler every night. But
barring foul trouble, he ought to be nearing double-figure rebounds every
night.

Arthur R asks ... Do you think the Mavericks will trade Brendan Haywood? He
was promised the starting job and then the Mavericks get Tyson [Chandler] in
the off-season. Rick Carlisle comes off as a liar.

人認為應該讓Brendan Haywood先發，甚至說Rick Carlisle是個說謊的人。


SEFKO: First of all, they can't trade Haywood until mid-December because of
contractual rules. Second, they can't trade Haywood, at all, unless somebody
out there wants to take on the $40-plus million that he's guaranteed in the
next five years.

當地記者SEFKO認為，首先，小牛在12月中前是不會交易Brendan Haywood的， 因為
契約的規定是如此。其次，他們也不會交易他，因為不會有人想吃下5年4000多萬的
合約。


Third, we don't know what Carlisle said to Haywood when he did his free-agent
recruiting. At the time, before anybody knew that Chandler was going to be a
Maverick, maybe he did promise Haywood the starting job. But if you promise
DeShawn Stevenson the shooting guard spot and Kobe Bryant suddenly comes to
town, is that a promise you keep?
