Sefko: Mavericks' defensive armor beginning to show a crack

小牛的防守出現裂縫

The Mavericks have found the first dent in their defensive armor. The last
several teams have exposed it.

在小牛的防守上出現了裂痕
最近的對手也朝著那攻擊

It's not that the defense has softened. It's that the Mavericks can't close
out decent defensive possessions with a rebound.

這不是說小牛的防守開始變娘了~
而是小牛在他們的防守陣勢中沒辦法好好保護籃板

The Milwaukee Bucks dragged down three key offensive rebounds in the fourth
quarter Monday when they ended the Mavericks' 12-game winning streak.

密爾瓦基在終止小牛12連勝的第四節比賽
抓到了3次關鍵的進攻籃板~

Before Wednesday's game against Portland, coach Rick Carlisle said it was
imperative that they do a better job in that department, especially because
the Blazers came into the game with the best offensive-rebounding percentage
in the NBA, getting better than 31 percent of their missed shots.

So what happens? The Blazers got six offensive boards in the first quarter.
They had nine by halftime.

This after Carlisle had said that anytime a team gets 10 or more, the
Mavericks can consider their rebounding efforts failed on the defensive end.

卡帥在被對手拿下10個或更多的進攻籃板時說過
小牛必須知道沒有保護好籃板  防守就沒辦法結束!!!

The Mavericks did a great job of forcing missed shots. They simply couldn't
close out the possessions with rebounds and therefore the Blazers were
hanging tough.

小牛很努力得讓對手投不進球
小牛只是沒辦法保護好籃板
然後拓荒者想盡辦法要回到比賽中~

It's a problem the Mavs are going to have to address.

這個問題小牛必須要去面對改進!!!
