In Germany three teams are dreaming the return of Dirk Nowitzki in case of
NBA lockout, as reported by Bild.
Alba Berlin, Bayern Munich and Brose Baskets Bamberg are the three clubs
ready to sign the Mavericks star next season.
"It is too early to talk about unforeseen scenario" said Nowitzki's mentor
Holger Geschwindner. "For sure, if he will decide to return to Europe, he
will play in Germany".
Bamberg is close to his hometown Wurzburg, in Bayern Munich there are some
teammates of the German National Team while in Berlin there is the biggest
Arena in the country and a team with big tradition.
In case Nowitzki will return to Germany, he will be signing for 1 milion of
euro.
It is not clear how Dirk Nowitzki can return to Europe having a valid
contract with Mavericks for the coming seasons. According to news coming from
US, just free agent can play in the Old Continent during the lockout.
