Denver Nuggets continue to haunt the Mavericks

Aside from showing exactly why the Mavericks should be glad they won't see
the Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs, Denver's win in Los Angeles
against the Lakers today was proof that somehow, some way, the Nuggets have a
flair for making life miserable for the Mavericks.

小牛暗爽了，因為季後賽首輪不會對到最近幹掉湖人的金塊，而不知為什麼在某種意義上，
金塊有讓小牛悲劇的天生神力。

Pretty much everybody is in agreement that the San Antonio Spurs are in a
free fall and would be preferable as a possible second-round opponent to the
Lakers, who have lost just twice in the last six weeks.
大家一致認為馬刺最近的狀況像是在做自由落體運動似的走下坡，而最好他們第二輪就
對上近六週只輸兩場的湖人。

So the Nuggets go to LA and win and that makes it highly unlikely that the
Lakers will catch the Spurs for the No. 1 overall seed. That means the
Mavericks would catch the Lakers in the second round, not the Spurs.

而湖人輸給金塊意謂著他們更不可能趕上馬刺取代成為西區第一，而這更意謂著小牛
跟湖人要在第二輪槓上了。

All this assumes a first-round win, which is assuming a lot the way the
Mavericks have been playing lately.

所以假設你過了第一輪，你很有可能在第二輪遇到小牛。

The Nuggets are exactly the kind of team that the Mavericks need to avoid.
They scrap, they play defense and they really know how to keep their energy
level up at all times.

小牛應該避免遇到金塊，他們戰鬥，他們防守，並隨時處於高能量狀態。

In short, the Mavericks should be just fine with Portland or Memphis or New
Orleans in the first round. Thankfully, Denver is pretty much assured of the
No. 5 spot.

第五名了。




幹，除了黃蜂，對到誰我都有點怕怕的...
