Scouting the Mavericks
Game 2 has not been kind to the Mavs on the road in recent playoff series.
They are 0-3 since 2008 in Game 2 situations on the road and 1-4 overall. …
They did what they had to do in Game 1 against the Lakers, stealing home
court. They did so, in part, by having a decent rebounding game, losing the
glass battle by a respectable 44-40. “We held our own on the boards,’’
said Dirk Nowitzki, who had 14 rebounds. “That’s a big key for us. If we
keep the rebound game within four or five, we give ourselves a chance to win
the game.’’ … Peja Stojakovic has continued a solid run with his shooting,
nailing better than 44 percent from 3-point range in seven playoff games.

Scouting the Lakers
It’s not exactly a must-win situation but it’s not far from it. The Lakers
are 2-16 all time in series when they have started in an 0-2 hole. When
splitting the first two games, they have won 29 of 41 series. … Kobe Bryant’
s 36 points Monday marked his 81st playoff game with 30 points or more. He
trails only Michael Jordan (109) on that list. … The Lakers shot just 38
percent in the second half Monday. Take away Bryant’s 9-of-17 shooting in
that half, and the rest of the Lakers were 7-of-25 or 28 percent. … The
Lakers’ strong bench was outscored, 40-25, in Game 1, including 17-8 in the
second half.
第二場對湖人來說並不是個非贏不可的比賽，但是也相去不遠了。 從湖人隊史來看
，當他們在系列賽處於0勝2敗的劣勢下，最終只有2次拿下系列賽，而輸掉了18個系
列賽。
當前兩戰打成1勝1敗時，湖人則是拿下了29個系列賽，輸掉12個系列賽。
Kobe Bryant第一場的36分是他生涯季後賽第81場得分在30以上， 在NBA歷史上僅次
於Michael Jordan的109次。
湖人第一場下半場投籃命中率只有3成8，扣掉Kobe的17投9中， 其他人是25投7中，
命中率是2成8。
湖人強壯的板凳得分被比了下去，第一戰40-25，包刮下半場的17-8。
