Phil Jackson: 'I don't think I've seen a team play to that level' in playoff 
series before

The Dallas Mavericks finished off the two-time defending Los Angeles Lakers
in dramatic fashion, routing them 122-86, to complete the first and possibly
only post-season sweep of Lakers' head coach Phil Jackson's storied career.
However, the game ended on an ugly note for Jackson and his team, as Lamar
Odom and Andrew Bynum were ejected from the game in the fourth quarter within
one minute of each other.

After the game, Jackson and his two ejected big men were interviewed by the
media. Here are the best quotes from their interview:

Phil Jackson:

"Well I don't think I've seen a team play to that level in a series in a game
like they played this afternoon. They [Dallas] were terrific. I didn't think
we played bad to start the ballgame, but that second quarter it was like the
roof fell in on us. I wasn't happy with the way our players exited the game,
on Lamar [Odom's] and Andrew's [Bynum's] part. It was unnecessary, but I know
they were frustrated. And Barea was one of the guys that really frustrated us
tonight."

"We're disappointed in the way we finished the game. We wanted to have a good
game. I didn't like the way Andrew and Lamar finished like I mentioned just
now. We ran into a buzz saw today. Sometimes you can't get a win. You'd like
to have an opportunity to challenge but we didn't."

Phil Jackson說：我想在我季後賽的生涯中， 從來沒有看過一支球隊在一場比賽裡
打出像他們今天所展現出來的水準。他們打的非常好， 我不認為我們開賽時打的不
好，但是第二節就像是屋頂倒下來壓在我們身上， 我很不高興我們的球員用這用的
方式離開球場，就是Lamar Odom還有Andrew Bynum的部份， 這是很不必要的，但是
我知道他們很沮喪，而Barea正是其中一個讓我們很沮喪的傢伙。



Andrew Bynum:

Are you disappointed in yourself?

"No, I'm not disappointed in myself. It is what it is. We got embarrassed
tonight, so that's what happened."

Why the flagrant foul?

"I think it was more we were getting embarrassed, they were breaking us down.
So I just fouled somebody."

Andrew Bynum被問到是否對自己感到很沮喪。

Lamar Odom

"Losing is losing. Of course, you don't want to get beat like that, get
swept. Obviously something wasn't there. We couldn't overcome a lot of things
we usually overcome. A lot of things we used to overcome. It makes no
difference; it could have happened the next round or the Finals."

What happened on the ejection?

"I was a little embarrassed. I went to fill the rim out, they were already up
30, and I didn't mean anything by it."

Why were they able to be so successful from three?

"They played their butts off. They played how you're supposed to play in a
close out game."

輸球就是輸球了，當然，你不想像這樣被擊敗，被橫掃。 我們沒有客服很多平常我
們可以克服的事情，很多事情我們都克服了，這並沒有什麼區別， 這可能發生在下
一輪或總冠軍吧。

被問到關於被驅逐出場的部份。

我感到有點難堪，他們已經領先30分以上了，這樣做並不是惡意的。



被問到為什麼小牛的三分球為什麼可以如此成功。

他們發揮出了他們的水準，我們打出你應該在關門戰應該有的水準。
