Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki is not engaged to his Swedish girlfriend
Jessica Olsson, a team representative confirmed.
Mediatakeout.com circulated a false report that was picked up by Dallas-Fort
Worth news outlets that Nowitzki became engaged a few days before the start
of tonight's NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.
Olsson is not at American Airlines Arena tonight to watch Game 1 in Miami.
Nowitzki's parents also didn't make the trip over from Germany to watch their
son play in the NBA Finals in Miami.
