Mavericks center Haywood leaves Game 2 in fourth quarter with strained right 
hip flexor injury

MIAMI - Mavericks backup center Brendan Haywood left early in the fourth
quarter with a strained right hip flexor injury.

Haywood, who played eight minutes in Game 2 and had two points and no
rebounds, intentionally grabbed Udonis Haslem with 11:13 left in the game to
draw a foul and walked straight off the court and quickly made his way to the
locker room.

In Game 1, Haywood played 14 minutes and was 0-for-1 from the field and
3-for-6 from the free throw line but added seven rebounds, three blocks and
one steal.
