Mavericks backup center Brendan Haywood won't play in Game 3

Mavericks backup center Brendan Haywood will miss Game 3 of the NBA Finals on
Sunday night with a strained right hip flexor, Dallas coach Rick Carlisle
said.

Haywood suffered the injury in Game 2 of Thursday night's win in Miami.

Haywood said he "was hoping for a miracle. Didn't happen." But he said he is
optimistic about playing Game 4 "because I've seen a lot of progression and
it's gotten better every day. But it's just about, 'Can you go out there and
do the things necessary to help the team?'

"Waited ten years to get to this point and then you're hurt, so it's
definitely something that you're disappointed about and you're very down
about," Haywood added. "But those are the chips that you're given and you've
got to play your hand."

Brendan Haywood本人則是說：他期待奇蹟可以發生，不過並沒有。但是他說他對第
四戰非常樂觀，因為他每天都有很多的進步，屁股的狀況越來越好。
