Dallas Mavericks J.J. Barea and Shawn Marion and owner Mark Cuban appeared on
Lopez Tonight, the TBS talk show hosted by George Lopez on Monday night.

Among the topics discussed was the reward the Mavericks would receive for
winning the NBA championship. The traditional prize for the player for a
league title is a ring, but Cuban said shortly after Dallas' Game 6 win that
rings were 'old school' and his players could expect something less obvious.
His players wouldn't mind a few items for taking the title.

"Do a ring and a watch!" Marion told Cuban.


Cuban was asked about his tribute to Don Carter, the original owner of the
Mavericks, who accepted the Larry O'Brien Trophy on behalf of the Mavericks
once the NBA title was won, thanks to Cuban's decision to invite him to the
ceremony.

"Don is 78 years old," Cuban said. "He comes to every game ... He's had some
heart problems and hasn't been feeling well. After we won game five against
the Heat in Dallas he was like 'Mark, if we can win this thing my life would
be complete.' I try not to jinx myself and think ahead but the one thing I
wanted to do was, if we won, I wanted Mr. Carter to come up there and accept
the trophy."

That sentiment was a little more family friendly than the one Lopez offered
Cuban during the playoffs.

"You know what (expletive), you're going to win this thing." Cuban recalled.

Cuban brought a signed basketball to Lopez as a gift, but what Lopez really
wanted is for the Mavericks owner to buy his beloved Dodgers.

"Will you please buy the Los Angeles Dodgers?" Lopez asked.

"I might have to and sign J.J. He can play baseball," Cuban said.

Marion回答:做一個戒指和手錶吧!

當被問到是否會買下Dodgers時

Cuban回說:我可能會吧 然後我會簽下JJB讓他打棒球
