No partying with the Mavericks for Dampier


DALLAS — Miami Heat free agent center Erick Dampier is not a happy camper.

After the Dallas Mavericks finished off the Heat in six games to win the NBA
championship on June 12, it was widely reported that Dampier was out partying
with the Mavs. Not so, Dampier said.

“That’s a damn joke,’’ Dampier said Wednesday. “Why would I want to
party with the Dallas Mavericks when they just beat us?’’

Dampier said an ESPN reporter tweeted that he was partying with the Mavs. He
also said his handlers and representatives of the Heat contacted the reporter
and supposedly had the matter corrected.

Still, Dampier was upset that something of that nature got widely reported
when it wasn’t true.

“It all started with a tweet,’’ Dampier said. “With all the pictures that
were posted online, show me one picture where Erick Dampier was in it hanging
out and partying with the Dallas Mavericks.

“Just show me one picture. They can’t, because there’s not one. You can’t
invent one and you can’t find one.’’

Dampier對於捏造他參加小牛派對感到很生氣.

Dampier表示:這真是個天大的笑話,小牛才剛擊敗我們,為什麼我會去參加小牛隊的派對?
這件事完全開始於一段推特文,網路這麼多照片,秀給我一張我有參加小牛隊派對的照片阿
只要秀給我一張,但他們沒辦法,因為我根本沒參加,他們捏造不出來也找不到
