Report: Mavericks free agent Caron Butler prefers Clippers or Bulls

If Mark Cuban and the Mavericks were thinking they could re-sign Caron Butler
on the cheap after his injury-riddled 2010-11 season, they might want to
think again.

如果Cuban還認為可以便宜的留下CB4的話，那就大錯特錯了！

Butler, one of the most pursued small forwards in this year’s free-agent
class, privately considers the Los Angeles Clippers and Chicago Bulls as his
two most preferred destinations, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

根據來自雅虎的消息，CB4私底下透露想去快艇或是公牛。

According to Yahoo!, Butler is most attracted to the Bulls because of the
chance to play with Derrick Rose and compete for a title, but he would have
to take significantly less money to play in Chicago. Ultimately, that leaves
the Clippers with an edge over the New Jersey Nets among the suitors with the
most significant cap space and a need for a starting small forward.

CB4想去公牛的原因是因為玫瑰，他想跟玫瑰一起打拼總冠軍！
但去公牛他可以拿到的錢會少一點。
另外想去快艇或是籃網的原因，是因為有先發的位置。

“He sees the Clippers with a more stable foundation of players,” one source
familiar with Butler’s thinking said told Yahoo. “He isn’t sure about
Deron Williams’ future in New Jersey, and having a chance to win will be a
big part of this.”

Butler, who will turn 32 during the upcoming season, averaged 15 points and
4.1 rebounds in 29 games for the Mavs before tearing the patellar tendon in
his right knee, which required season-ending surgery.

然後就因傷報銷球季了QQ

According to a tweet by CBSSports.com's Ken Berger, the Nets, Clippers Bulls,
Heat, Spurs and Knicks have all expressed interest in Butler in the early
stages of free agency, meaning the Mavs will have plenty of competition for
the veteran wingman's services should they want to retain him.

根據某位大大指出包括了籃網、快艇、公牛、熱火、馬刺跟尼克都對CB4有所動作，
看來如果小牛想要留下這位有經驗的搖擺人，
有一大票的競爭對手！

Berger made no mention of the Mavs, and with questions swirling over the
heads of Tyson Chandler and J.J. Barea, Butler could get shuffled down the
team's priority list in the coming weeks.

這位大大並沒有提到小牛有啥動作，
畢竟留不留CB4這件事，沒有留下JJB跟Tyson來的重要！

NBC Sports' Kurt Helin predicted Wednesday that Butler will likely command an
annual salary around the mid-level exception, which will be about $5 million
next season.
