DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks, having already lost two key free agents,
started to fill the voids Friday by signing free agent forward Brandan
Wright, a former lottery pick.
在失去兩名重要的自由球員後，小牛用簽下前樂透選秀前鋒Brandan Wright來補洞。
Terms of the deal are not yet known. Wright is in Dallas and participated in
the team's first practice Friday afternoon, a Mavs official said.

Wright, a 6-foot-10, 210-pound forward is a former first round draft pick
(eighth overall), but his career has been beset by injuries and has yet to
live up to his draft position.

The former North Carolina standout finished last season with the New Jersey
Nets after being traded from the Golden State Warriors in February. Wright
began his career with the Warriors in 2007, but never played in more than 39
games.

He averaged 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds last season in 37 games, averaging

With the departure of center Tyson Chandler, Wright will be looked to provide
the Mavs with a big body off the bench to play behind either Dirk Nowitzki or
Brendan Haywood.

當黑霧的替補。
