Jason Kidd: Jason Terry's late role vs. Suns a 'double-edged sword'

Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd tried to walk the fine line when
analyzing Jason Terry's situation. Coach Rick Carlisle sat Terry for most
of the fourth quarter and the final 15 seconds in particular, when the
game with the Phoenix Suns could have been tied or won with a clutch
shot. Dallas lost, 96-94.

plays. Was he having a good night? No. But if he's on the floor to knock
down a 3 at the end to win the game, we might be singing a different
tune. But he's not on the floor, coach goes with Roddy and we still get a
good look. So like I said to start this comment, it's a double-edged
sword.

Roddy Beaubois took both of the shots and neither went down. Kidd would
have liked to see more of Nowitzki with the game on the line.

 Roddy Beaubois 得到了這兩次投球機會不過都沒有成功。 Kidd 本來希望能製造出
更多讓 Dirk 在比賽中進攻的機會。


"We had a chance to tie it and I said it in Oklahoma, Dirk's got to touch
the ball at some point,'' Kidd said. "We got two good looks, but they
didn't go in.''

『在奧克拉荷馬，我們也有機會讓 Dirk 在相同的位置拿到球。』 Kidd 說。
『我們也有兩次投籃機會，但（雷霆的防守）讓他們進不來。』
