MILWAUKEE -- At the end of his postgame press conference after Tuesday's
115-108 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle
went out of his way to all but apologize to center Chris Kaman -- via the
media.

Kaman started the game, but played only the first two minutes and 14 seconds
before Carlisle replaced him and never put him back in the game again. While
Kaman absolutely didn't like the way he was handled, Carlisle told the media:

分14秒就被總教練Carlisle換下，而且此後再沒有出場過。賽後，卡帥表示本場讓Kaman
先發是自己的一個錯誤。

“Starting Kaman tonight was a mistake on my part because of the quickness of
(the Bucks') big guys. I decided to give it a shot because he’s been doing
some good things.

“由於對方(公鹿)大個子敏捷的移動速度，這場讓Kaman先發是我的一個錯誤，我是想讓他
試一試因為最近他一直做得不錯，”卡帥說。

“But the quick pull on that, it just wasn’t his type of game, so that’s on
me and I’ve already talked to him about that. He’s a valuable player for
us, but this was not the right game to throw him out there at the beginning."

“但我肯快就意識到，這樣的比賽並不適合Kaman這種類型的內線，所以責任在我，我
也已經和他談過了。Kaman對我們是有價值的，但這場並不是讓他出場的那種正確的比
賽。”

Kaman, who signed a one-year, $8 million contract with the Mavs last summer,
was not exactly thrilled with being yanked so early in the game without
having another chance to get back in.

Kaman在去年夏天與小牛簽下了一份為期一年、價值800萬美元的合約，與公鹿比賽後
Kaman本人對Carlisle的決定並沒有顯得很激動。

"It's obviously disappointing that (Carlisle) feels that way, that I
shouldn't even be playing, but the guys did a good job and really we've been
playing well,'' Kaman said. "This road trip, we're 3-0 right now and I'm
happy.

“卡帥感覺我甚至不應該比賽的想法確實有些令人失望，但其他人做得真很不錯，而且
他們一直都很好。這是個漫長的客場之旅，而且我們現在已經3連勝了，我很開心的，”
Kaman說。

"But obviously from a personal standpoint it's frustrating because you've got
a guy who's played in this league for 10 years and I feel like I'm a pretty
solid basketball player. For me not to be able to even get into a game to me
is just a little diappointing, but it is what it is.''

但從個人角度來說當然很沮喪，因為球隊裡擁有一名在聯盟中打拼10年的球
員(卻不能上場)，而且我覺得自己也是一個很穩定的球員。對我來說在比賽中甚至不能獲
得機會是有一點失望，但事實就是這樣。”

Kaman missed his only two field goal attempts against the Bucks, and
otherwise had zeros across the board. Obviously, Kaman wanted to be more of a
factor against Milwaukee, but that wasn't the case.

Kaman在出場的2分14秒內2投全失，而且其他的技術統計也都是0。很明顯Kaman很想多打
一會，但決定權卻不在他自己身上。

"He's going to make his decisions,'' Kaman said of Carlisle. "That's why
they're paying him the big bucks to be in charge of the Mavericks, and that's
his decision.''

“他(Carlisle)會做出自己的決定，”Kaman最後說道。"這就是他們付給他那麼多工資，
讓他來管理小牛隊的原因，而這就是他的決定。”
