The Mavericks don’t expect to do any more summer shopping for backcourt
help.

小牛已經沒有再補後場的打算。

“That’s probably a long shot,” president of basketball operations Donnie
Nelson told reporters Wednesday.

小尼說搶Ellis不太可能。

In other words, don’t hold your breath for Monta Ellis to become a Maverick.

所以不用等了。

The Mavs have addressed their backcourt needs by agreeing to terms with point
guard Jose Calderon, combo guard Devin Harris and shooting guard Wayne
Ellington. Sources have indicated throughout the free agency process that the
Mavs’ interest in Ellis has been dependent on him slipping through the
cracks and being a short-term bargain like O.J. Mayo was last summer.

補進Calderon Harris Ellington後，後場戰力已得到填補，除非Ellis像去年Mayo一樣
只剩便宜短約被小牛撿走。

The Mavs, who have approximately $8.2 million in salary-cap space, have made
filling the massive void at center a priority. They are engaged in cautious
negotiations with Andrew Bynum after meeting with the free-agent center and
his agent Wednesday morning.

最後8.2M的空間，將用來優先補強中鋒

Ellis, a combo guard with a career average of 19.4 points despite poor
efficiency ratings, is a luxury the Mavs likely can not afford.

小牛應該簽不起Ellis.

心得：朝11年冠軍隊形去找適合的人補強，但當年陣型中Terry的火力，第二得分點
在Mayo離隊後令人擔心…看來是不會去搶Gerald Henderson了，Eillington和Harris
是否能扛起得分火力？還是要靠VC燃燒小宇宙扛第二得分點…前景並不樂觀…
新秀Larkin應該可以期待，總之先簽下Dalembert補洞吧…

→ dmdjjj      :來說身高都夠，厚度也不差，加上這兩人剛好對位能力
→ dmdjjj      :都不算差，所以還能彌補防守技巧不足這件事
