[外電] Injury updates on Tyson Chandler and M

Both Tyson Chandler (back spasms) and Monta Ellis (left ankle) showed
improvement during a light workout for the Dallas Mavericks Monday.

Coach Rick Carlisle said Chandler, who missed Sunday’s Oklahoma City game,
will be questionable for Tuesday’s game against Washington.


“Tyson seems to be doing better,” Carlisle said. “We’ll hopefully have an
update in the morning and if not, we’ll have one when we have to release his
status for (game day).”

Ellis came down wrong on his left foot in the fourth quarter of the win over
OKC.

“Monta seems to be doing OK,” Carlisle said. “I know he said he’s not
going to miss any games. I tend to take his word on that at this time. We’ll
see where he’s at in the  morning, too.”

Asked whether it was an ankle sprain for Ellis, Carlisle said: “He came down
on it funny and that’s the ankle he has a plate in. He got back up and I was
told he was available to go back in if we needed him to. I elected not to
because I didn’t want to risk anything. We’ll hope for the best.”

Ellis has not missed a game since joining the Mavericks, playing all 114
regular-season games and seven playoff games since his arrival.
