Mavericks-Clippers Preview


The Los Angeles Clippers have won four of five games, and there isn't an
impressive win among them.

洛杉磯快艇在最近五場比賽裡面贏了四場，不過這幾場的對手都不是
很強。


That can change Saturday when the Dallas Mavericks visit Staples Center with
hopes of bouncing back from one of their worst losses of the season.

明天他們將要在主場迎戰達拉斯小牛，小牛希望能擺脫上一場在主場
大敗的陰霾。


After some defensive struggles cost the Clippers (24-12) four of six, they've
held opponents to 92.4 points and 41.6 percent shooting in the last five
games. Wednesday's 114-89 win over the Los Angeles Lakers was the latest in a
string of victories against weak opponents - Utah, New York, Philadelphia and
the Lakers with a loss to Eastern Conference-leading Atlanta sprinkled in.

前一段時間，快艇因為防守問題一度在六場比賽當中輸了四場，不過
他們最近五場比賽把對手的平均得分壓低到92.4分，命中率41.6%，讓

"The ball movement was just beautiful to watch and our defensive intensity
was really high," said Clippers coach Doc Rivers, whose team enters the
eighth date on a nine-game homestand. "That's what we have to get back to."

快艇教練Doc Rivers說："球的傳導很順暢，防守也做的很好，這讓我
們找回贏球的方法。"快艇明天將迎接主場九連戰的第八場。


Each starter reached double figures with Blake Griffin's 27 points, nine
rebounds and eight assists and Chris Paul's 24 points and 11 assists leading
the way. Paul has three straight double-doubles with a 6.60
assist-to-turnover ratio. As a team, the Clippers committed a season-low six
turnovers.

昨天快艇的五名先發球員得分都達到雙位數，Blake Griffin拿到27分
9籃板8助攻，而Chris Paul得到24分11助攻。CP3已經連續三場比賽拿
到雙十，在這三場比賽他的助攻失誤比是6.60，而昨天快艇也只犯下

"We came out and did everything we wanted to do," said Griffin, who has been
limited to 42.3 percent shooting in his last five games against the
Mavericks. "It has to be a little bit of pride."

Griffin最近五場比賽的命中率只有42.3%，他說："我們在場上攻守

Paul has averaged 25.0 points in his last four against Dallas while shooting
60.0 percent.

J.J. Redick cooled off some with a 3-of-8 shooting effort for 10 points,
though the shooting guard is still averaging 17.4 points while shooting 51.3
percent in his last 10 games. He scored a career-high 33 points, including 7
of 9 from 3-point range, in a 129-127 home win over Dallas on Jan. 15.

J.J. Redick昨天手感冷卻，投8中3拿到10分，他在最近十場比賽平

The Mavericks (26-11), beginning a three-game road trip, saw their second
six-game winning streak of the season come to an end in Wednesday's 108-95
loss to surging Detroit. The defeat is up there with a 108-87 loss at
Portland on Nov. 6 as one of their worst.

26勝11敗的小牛又將踏上客場之旅，昨天他們中斷了本季第二次的六
連勝，以95-108敗給崛起的底特律活塞，這是本季小牛輸第二多分的
比賽，僅次於在客場以87-108敗給波特蘭拓荒者。


They were outrebounded 60-43, which is something that's been a prevailing
theme over the last seven games with a rebounding differential of minus-8.4.

小牛在籃板上已43-60大敗，這是他們最近七場比賽的大問題，平均每

"Well, the rebounding problems caught up with us tonight in a big way,
because we turned it over quite a bit and our shotmaking wasn't great,"
Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle told the team's official website.

What's balanced the rebounding struggles is a plus-5.3 turnover margin in
those seven games along with a plus-9.0 scoring differential off those
turnovers.

均多犯下5.3次失誤，從中多得到了9.0分。


Dirk Nowitzki had 19 points and five rebounds, while Tyson Chandler had nine
points and 15 rebounds. For the season, Chandler is averaging 12.1 rebounds,
and no one else on the team is at 6.0.

板。小牛球員當中，除了單場平均12.1籃板的拳王，其他沒有人的場
均籃板超過6.0個。


"We have to all get in there and help Tyson out," Nowitzki said. "Tyson's
been a stud on the boards, all year long, both ends of the floor."

Dirk說："我們得積極卡位並幫助Chandler，他一直是個籃板高手，
在攻守兩端都是。"


Nowitzki's offense has suffered some lately, averaging 15.8 points while
shooting 40.5 percent in five games, but he's averaged 26.2 points in his
last five against the Clippers.

Dirk最近的進攻狀況也不太好，最近五場比賽平均只有15.8分，命
中率40.5%，不過他在最近五次對上快艇時平均能得到26.2分。


Top scorer Monta Ellis has also seen his shot dip in the last two games with
a 36.4-percent mark. He's been held to 14.2 points and 38.8 percent in his
last six against Los Angeles.

進攻好手Monta Ellis最近兩場比賽的命中率也掉到只有36.4%，而
在最近六次對上快艇時，他平均只有14.2分，命中率38.8%。


The Clippers won three of four in last season's series and have taken seven
of the last 10.

快艇在上季的四次對戰中拿下三勝，最近10次對戰當中贏了7場。
