There was a student from Taiwan whose postor was right next to mine. We talked a little bit. I saw his advisor at the afternoon. His advisor is Taiwanese, too. The advisor told me publish paper is very important! Especially when you apply PhD degree in USA. So if you guys want to apply PhD in america, try to publish as many paper as you can.
