robbins 7th p.495有這樣一段話：
SIDS is the leading cause of death between age 1 mounth and 1 year in
this country and the third leading cause of death overall in infancy,
after congenital anomalies and diseases of prematurity and low birth weight.
應該是說一個月到一年的嬰兒(新生兒?!)最常死於SIDS
不過總體來看小孩的死因排名是：1.congenital anomalies
2.prematurity (robbins 7th p.476)
3.SIDS
只是文章中那個 "in this country"是指美國，至於台灣是不是統計上也是這樣
就不知道了，可能要看上一篇文章的數據吧~
