James Posey isn't in the starting lineup for his offense.

James Posey不是因為他的進攻而進入先發陣容

It's his defense and intangibles that has Posey starting and averaging 33
minutes a game since Jason Kapono went down with an ankle sprain.

而是因為Posey的防守和無形的貢獻使他在Jason Kapono因腳踝扭傷缺陣後能先發並平均

But Posey has averaged double figures three seasons in his career, so he is
more than a spot-up shooter on offense end. And since Dwyane Wade has been
out with a shoulder injury, Posey has showed off more of those offensive
instincts, averaging 9.5 points, even creating baskets at times when the
offense is bogged down by a zone defense.

但是Posey在他的職業生涯有三個球季平均得分兩位數，所以他不只是個結束進攻的定點

''I've been known as a slasher, for the most part,'' Posey said. ``Now the
situation has provided the opportunity to do both, which I like a little bit.
I think that's helped me over the past however many games, getting more of a

Posey has become accustomed to getting most of his shots from the perimeter
or in transition.

That's why it is taking some time to shake the rust off the slashing part of
his game. But it's obvious just in his 11 free-throw attempts in the past
three games (he attempted 55 free throws in his previous 53 games) that Posey
is playing more aggressively.

那就是為什麼在比賽中他有時候會動搖而荒廢砍分(我想是出手會猶豫的意思...)。但過

''You need to be in a rhythm as well, not only just to score but to drive and
kick it and make plays, which I know I can do,'' Posey said. ``I'm just
trying to get that back and get my mind made up. It's 50-50 right now, but
I'm not just settling for jump shots.''

Posey is playing this way despite a sore left shoulder that has bothered him
for a handful of games. He hurt the shoulder in a more familiar manner,
however.

''I have it from taking charges, just trying to catch myself a couple
times,'' Posey said. ``I probably just strained something right there. It's
just been a little bit uncomfortable for the most part. I'm doing everything
possible as far as treatment and rest.''


NO WORRIES


Heat coach Pat Riley doesn't want to overreact to his team's home loss
against the Magic on Sunday -- the Heat's second home loss in March or April
since the Heat acquired O'Neal. That's because the team's previous 21 games
are more telling.

''What we talked about [Tuesday] is who we have become in the last 22
games,'' Riley said. ``If you look at the top five key stats defensively and
the five key stats offensively, we're ranked in the top five since then. Our
field-goal percentage is the best in the league since then, our defensive
efficiency is the best in the league, our points in the paint are either
first or second allowed. Even though during the course of the season we have
been inconsistent, over the last 22 games I hope this is the team we have
become.''

KAPONO UPDATE

Kpoono的消息

Kapono shot around after practice Tuesday for the first time since he had the
cast removed on his sprained left ankle, but the forward said he still has no
timetable on a return.

大意是說Kapono左腳踝扭傷後第一次參加球隊的訓練，但還不知道何時回歸
